GFRP | Office Stairs

This unique staircase is a beautiful example of how creative minds and engineers can work together to create a masterpiece. The overall aesthetic design of the office is modern, energetic and vibrant. The staircase is a focal point of the space and is meant to inspire everyone that sees it. The design inspiration for this staircase was the strength of muscle, its shape resembles a large muscular form that zig zags the main floors of the office space. Our design team worked very closely with the engineering team to merge the steel skeletal structural frame with the outer Glass Fiber reinforced Polymer casing to ensure a seamless form. Working on a project like this introduced some unique challenges; specifically when dealing with a high security government sector project. Our process and methodology enabled us to navigate through all of the approval layers and requirements.
